A failed water heater can dump 40–80 gallons of water into a basement or utility room in minutes — and older tanks sitting on unfinished floors often leak slowly for weeks first. We handle the full response: shut off, extract, dry, and install a new water heater, all with one experienced CT plumbing crew.
What's included
- Emergency water heater shutdown and drainage
- Extraction and cavity drying
- Tank or tankless replacement, same day when possible
- Pan, drip tray, and leak sensor upgrades
- Insurance documentation for tank failure claims
Our process
Shut & drain
Water and gas/power to the heater are secured; the tank is drained and removed safely.
Extract & dry
Standing water is extracted; subfloor, framing, and adjacent walls are moisture-mapped and dried.
Replace & protect
We install a new tank or tankless heater with a proper pan and leak sensor to catch the next failure early.
